With deep regret we announce that on September 3, 2013, at the age of 86, died Professor Jerzy Osiowski, PhD, DSc, Professor at Warsaw University of Technology, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, Director of the Institute of the Bases of Electronics, Chairman of the Board of Higher Education, teacher of generations of electrical engineers and founder of the scientific stuff. We have lost an outstanding scientist and educator, a man of great authority, full of warmth and friendliness.
