MOST Foundation (Mobile Open Society Through Wireless Technology), was officially initiated in 2001. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization. It is financed mainly by grants from Sponsors, does not derive any of its income from own business activities. As the Foundation is legally recognized as pro publico bono entity and thus any grants to the Foundation enjoy preferential tax accounting treatment.

The Polish Platform on Mobile Communications and Wireless Technology was founded on 4th February 2005. It associates companies, R&D institutions as well as SMEs to foster collaborative R&D undertakings and profit from financial resources dedicated to R&D  projects available both in Poland and Europe.

The MIANOWSKI FUND established in 1881 was reestablished in the form of a Foundation for the Promotion of Science in 1991. The Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications was established in 1993.

Photonics Society of Poland (PSP) is presently with its 215 members the largest and the most powerful optics/optoelectronics/photonics organization in Poland. It has already started integration and consolidations activities with Committee of Electronics and Telecommunication/Polish Academy of Sciences and with Committee of Optoelectronics/ Society of Polish Electrical Engineers.
